A Young Mind’s Playground

A Young Mind’s Playground is an art show meant to allow teenage artists the opportunity to display their works in a public venue. This opportunity to show off young talent will encourage each of the participating artists as they explore what they are inspired to create now, and what their curiosity is leading them towards for the future. It’s also being organized and curated by two teenagers, Bethany Hemphill and Selah Harvey, who earned this opportunity by persistently reminding the staff at abrasiveMedia of the need for the show and of their own willingness and ability to pull it off. The show is free and is open to all ages. The Young Minds in charge would also like to point out that all of the work will be for sale! A portion of the proceeds will go towards abrasiveMedia’s ongoing efforts to provide a venue for underserved communities.
